Company  JHEB

What is JHEB?

JHEB Company was founded by two jugglers, Eyal Bor and Jean-Hicham Rahmoun. Both share a strong preference for ball juggling, a fondness for juggling lots of objects and an affinity for movement and dance. Their desire to create together emerged after completing their studies at circus school. Their encounters at various circus festivals and juggling conventions had helped them kick-start their exploration, which lead to the initiation of their project.

What we are about

When we look at contemporary juggling shows, the tendency to prioritize the expressiveness of the piece means that the number of objects and the level of juggling technique is compromised, as if one is at a disadvantage to the other. Juggling with a large number of objects one of the main focuses of our work, it is our main language as artists and we believe in its intrinsic poetic potential. We like to combine juggling with principles of choreography and music, while maximizing the number of balls.

Our Show: Multitude

The encounter of two jugglers, they throw, dance, jam together. Synergetic cooperation to create a presentation full of skillfull tricks, interesting patterns, poetic moments and silly situations.

Juggling being our thing, expect lots of balls in the air!

From one scene to another, we alternate the focus: the objects and their trajectory in space, the different qualities of our bodies, the musicality created by the catches and the relationship between the two characters.
